so, i'm new to this whole blogging thing. please excuse the uber lame title; grease inspired. :)
reasons why i've started this blog and for my lame-o title:
1. to give me something to do on the internet other than myspace and youtube.
2. to recount all my summer memories.
3. as a new thing just for fun.
you probably don't care but i guess i'm supposed to tell you about what happens in my life and stuff. let's start from two nights ago :)
WEDNESDAY: CHRISTMAS EVE
the other night was christmas eve. i love christmas eve; best night of the whole year. so i got all dressed up (as nobody else does at my church. there's like 5 people all fancied up and everyone else wears normal clothes) and went to church to play my violin at the pre-mass carols. nobody paid any attention anyway. then the mass started and the church was absolutely freaking packed, which sucked because it was like 27 degrees, and that's hot for a melbournian night.
then my auntie, my brother and his girlfriend and her family and some friends from church came down to our place for our annual christmas dinner. i turned on the TV to carols by candlelight, and hi-5 was on. of course, i never miss hi-5, so i was sitting right in front of the telly. then lucy durack and amanda harrison (elphaba and glinda from the australian cast of wicked) performed a carol and i was even closer to the telly. i think i have eye damage now.
so then everyone went and ate dinner. i really hate loud noises and when everyone opened their bonbons i hid under the table. i ripped mine open and my brother yelled at me for cheating. i stuck my tongue out at him.
then we did presents at midnight like we do every year. then my brother's girlfriend's parents stayed for a while, and i watched my dad and her dad got drunk. then they had to walk home.
THURSDAY: CHRISTMAS DAY
so yesterday was christmas which was amazing. we went down to my brother and his girlfriend's place for lunch and got stuffed with food. i don't think i can even look at another christmas pudding ever again...
it was apparently only 24 degrees but i swear it felt at least 30. so we just talked about weather and turkey and hannah montana (not really but that's what i was thinking about) and i ran inside when everyone opened their bonbons. again i ripped mine open, but i got a nifty pen. also people gave me puzzles and erasers and kaleidoscopes and screwdrivers. then the jokes in them were in french and people were asking me to read them and i didn't know what they said.
so then they did presents while i popped a whole sheet of bubble wrap. i sure love bubble wrap. then my dad fell asleep on the couch and started snoring. my brother took a picture of it. i rofled.
then the simpsons was on. homer said he wanted to die choking on food. then the news was on and there was some story about church and they showed the priest singing "through him, with him, in him, in the unity of the holy spirit, all glory and honour is yours, almighty father. forever and ever." and i was singing along and my brother laughed at me. we don't actually know what's so funny about it but now it's very funny. then we went home, my parents went to bed and i stayed up making the second betty and jane episode. then my parents told me to go to sleep but i didn't want to, so i stayed up watching spongebob, reading and trying on clothes until 6:30am. i finally decided to go to sleep.
FRIDAY: BOXING DAY
then today, which is boxing day, i woke up at 9:30 and with only 3 hours of sleep in me, i dragged myself into the shower. i was supposed to meet robert at shoppingtown at 10:00am because i was making him see high school musical 3. we were both late and decided to go to the 2:30pm one instead.
so we walked around shoppingtown and i had sushi and bought AP and chilled at borders for a bit. then we saw brooke and i was all "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and she was like thanks! and it was funny because we were near all the star wars stuff and if you know brooke then that's funny, but it's not really that funny. then spirited away was on and i was watching it, but then we left.
and then we went to help rachael not be lost and i was being annoying dragging rachael and robert into all the shops i wanted to go to and waiting in the massive lines for me to pay. and then we went to jay jays where i bought the most awesomum (MOTHH joke) dress for $10. then about a girl - the academy is...* was playing in jay jays and i was like GASP and i called caitlin and she was like :D. and then i refused to leave until the song had finished and rachael and robert threatened to leave without me but i stayed in the store and they came back for me cause they love me too much.
and then we were walking and we saw the school's vicc principal (and my friend's mum) and it was like *awkward turtle*.
then rachael left and my feet were really hurting because my shoes were pretty inappropriate for walking around shops.
then we went to the cinema and bought food and tickets and saw high school musical 3. and then elly and bella were there and it was awesome. you could tell robert liked it cause he was paying attention and laughing at the "funny" parts. he said that if he had been watching it with anyone else he would've been bored because i was singing along and crying and dancing, but that was just an excuse. and then we all went to the apple store and went on myspace and youtube and took photos and stuffs. then we went to bloch and talked about dancing, then robert got bored and left.
then we spent like an hour in priceline trying on makeup and making our lips sting and trying to decide what colour i should dye my hair.
then we went to target cause i had to leave and that's where my parents were and then we made fun of hannah montana.
then they left and i left and in the car my dad was like "i bought you a new camera" so i have a new camera that equals love. (i will post pictures and videos about today tomorrow).
and then my feet were hurting for the whole day and they still do.
and that's pretty much my interesting 3 days of christmas holidays.
